Responsibilities:
Core Development and Maintenance:
- Website Construction: Building and implementing WordPress websites from concept to completion.
- Developing responsive websites that function seamlessly across various devices (desktops, tablets, and mobile phones).
- Theme Customization: Modifying and customizing existing WordPress themes to meet specific client requirements.
- Creating custom themes from scratch.
- Plugin Development and Integration: Developing custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
- Integrating and configuring third-party plugins.
- Website Maintenance: Providing ongoing website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security checks.
- Troubleshooting and resolving website issues.
Technical Skills and Implementation:
- Coding Proficiency: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Understanding of WordPress architecture and coding standards.
- Database Management: Working with MySQL databases.
- Performance Optimization: Optimizing website performance for speed and efficiency.
- Implementing caching and other performance-enhancing techniques.
- Security Implementation: Implementing security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities.
- SEO Best Practices: Implementing SEO best practices to improve website visibility.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Client Collaboration: Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with designers, content creators, and other team members.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintaining clear and concise documentation of code and website configurations.
Staying Current:
- Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, updates, and best practices.
- Learning new technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- No experience required, but experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding in Web Development is a plus, but not required.
- Has good communication skills. (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and eager to grow alongside with the company.
